I started watching Romeo × Juliet last weekend, and it has more WAFFles than IHOP. It's not the type of anime I normally watch, but there's something about it that's keeping me interested. I'm not sure what it is yet, though.

I've been looking at Claymore fanart for most of the evening, and I just found this. It's amazing to watch even if you've never seen/read the series.

I have a new favorite anime: Claymore. I started downloading it from Eclipse Productions last Sunday after reading about it at ANN, and I watched the 22 available episodes in five days. I love so many things about it, not least of which is the fact that most of the characters are powerful, sword-wielding women who don't have abnormally large breasts and aren't dressed like prostitutes. The next episode will be airing in Japan on Tuesday, so Eclipse should have it available on Wednesday. In the meantime, I created a community, claymoreanime, and I have an idea for a short fic.

I'm in the process of changing my pen name because I decided I don't want it to be similar to my real name. As always, I apologize for the inconvenience.

I took a baby step towards becoming a prolific fic author by publishing "To Be a Samurai" at the Pit of Voles.
